Europe needs a well-educated and qualified workforce to face the economic and competitive challenges of the coming years, at the same time being prepared for the multiple competences to meet the ever-changing occupational demands and roles now and in the future.
Low-educated and low-skilled adults are a source that can be empowered to enter jobs with higher demands. However, they not only face a higher risks of unemployment but also a social marginalisation or social exclusion due to deteriorating work and life conditions. Unfortunately, unemployment disproportionally affects low- skilled workers.
Qualify aims to revolutionise professional guidance and explore coaching as a tool to support low-skilled unemployed people to reflect on blocks and obstacles to their decision making, identify patterns of behaviour form the past that may impact future choice and work as catalyst in helping them define their own way forward
